Personal Fitness Merit Badge check

This is a required merit badge for the Eagle Scout rank.  Scoutmaster Kevin Warner has the boys meet with him at the park by his home every couple weeks to complete the aerobic fitness, flexibility, muscular strength, and body composition tests as described in the Personal Fitness merit badge pamphlet.  This MB requires a 12 week physical fitness program to be identified by the boys.  This is a GREAT way to help keep the boys on track to complete their merit badge.

The group meets approximately every two weeks.  Check with your Scoutmaster if your scout is interested in working on this.  This will be an ongoing activity and ALL Boy Scouts are welcome to attend.  However, please notify your Scoutmaster so that Kevin knows how many boys to expect.

To participate, the boys will need to bring with them a printed Personal Fitness merit badge worksheet and a signed Application for Merit Badge (blue card).  The blue card is provided by your Scoutmaster.

Merit Badge Days


If your scout would like to work on new merit badges, these Merit Badge Days are a great opportunity.  They provide scouts with an activity-filled day combining hands-on activities, question and answer sessions, and fun projects to help Scouts earn Merit Badges.  Many of these are listed on our calendar but a full list can be found at the OCBSA MBD Schedule page.
